Webinar — “Learn Scrivener” with Jolie Stekly

Date(s) - 10/29/2020
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Registration is closed.

So, You Want to Use Scrivener?

Many of you have probably heard of the popular writing software Scrivener. Heck, you may have already purchased it but then didn’t have a clue how to use it. Join Jolie to not only learn the basics that will get you started, but also some ways she uses it to keep her many writing projects organized. She uses it for everything! You’re encouraged to come to the webinar with Scrivener already loaded and ready to go on your device.  And, if you can, borrow a second household device to view the webinar on (to easily watch the webinar and use your Scrivener screen). The webinar will get you started, and the replay will allow you to be sure you have it solid.

Jolie Stekly works with writers at all stages, teaching classes remotely and at the University of Washington (Professional and Continuing Education). She also offers workshops and coaches writers one-on-one.

Over the past 15 years she has had the privilege to work with numerous editors, agents, authors, and illustrators to develop programming for conferences, retreats, and classes.

One of her proudest moments was being recognized as SCBWI’s 2009 Member of the Year, and now she has had the honor to welcome hundreds of first-time attendees to the international conference in Los Angeles, helping them make the most of their experience.

She holds a master’s degree in teaching, proudly writes on the blog team for the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators, and is represented by Rosemary Stimola at Stimola Literary Agency.

This FREE virtual event will be presented via Zoom Thursday, October 29, at 7:00 PM Pacific. Registration is required. Note that registration closes midnight, Sunday, October 25, or once we reach capacity. Register now to reserve your spot! If you are an SCBWI member, please log in to your SCBWI account to register.

All confirmed registrants will receive an email containing the event’s access information no later than Tuesday, October 27. Several days after the live event, you will also receive access to a replay of the talk.
