Author Martha Brockenbrough joins SCBWI WWA’s nonfiction coordinator, Lisa L. Owens, for a conversation about Brockenbrough’s approach to writing Unpresidented. How did she determine the book’s scope and then frame it for YA readers? What was it like to research a sitting president whose actions constantly dominate today’s 24-hour news cycle? These topics — and more! — will be covered.
Martha Brockenbrough (rhymes with broken toe) is the author of two books for adults and eight books for young readers (with several others on the way).
