A bonus opportunity is available for members and nonmembers for the June 29, Roundtable Consultations with Allison K Williams! Each roundtable participant will receive 10 minutes of on-the-spot feedback from Allison K Williams on an excerpt from their memoir-in-progress. Note that Allison is open to reviewing samples from any type of kidlit manuscript if you don’t yet have memoir pages to share. These Roundtable Consultations are scheduled for Tuesday, June 29, with two sessions to choose from: 8:30 AM or 10:30 AM Pacific.
Manuscript submissions:
Registrants will plan to share the first 5 pages of their manuscript as a Word doc or docx with 1-inch margins, using double-spaced text in Times New Roman 12 pt. Registration for consultations ends June 23. The deadline for writing-sample submissions is Friday, June 25, at 12:00 PM PDT. If you are registering for a newly available space after the June 25 deadline, contact lisa@llowens.com to discuss your submission. Further details about sending your files will follow via email as the event date approaches. Please note that spots in this session are limited and registrations are nonrefundable.
