How to Craft a Novel Setting That Offers Plot Opportunities

A vibrant setting can sometimes serve almost as a character in the story—but it can also be an amazing way to find organic plot ideas and opportunities. Whether you’re hauling through a NaNoWriMo project,  revising a work in process, or still simmering an unwritten idea in your mind, attention to setting can help you bring your story alive, build tension, and momentum through the middle, and craft a tale that could happen nowhere else.

Join Lisa Papademetriou, the author of more than a dozen middle-grade and YA books and the founder of the cloud-based writing tool,, for this master class that will  include discussion, writing exercises, and time for questions.

Fees are non-refundable.
