January Professional Series Meeting on Critical Thinking with Mark Maciejewski

Date(s) - 01/09/2021
10:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us for our 2020-2021 SCBWI WWA January Professional Series meeting with a Keynote talk from Mark Maciejewski.

Title: Critical Thinking: How to take it and dish it out

A veteran critiquer and Great Critique alum, Mark will discuss the different types of critiquing, and demystify the process by showing how his longtime critique group, The Papercuts, run their weekly sessions.

Mark Maciejewski is the author of I Am Fartacus, and its sequel, Electric Boogerloo. He is a member of The Papercuts, a weekly critique group which also boasts author Donna Barba Higuera as a member. Mark is also lucky to receive supplemental critique on much more than just his writing, as he and Donna have been married since 2016. They live in Issaquah, WA, with their four kids, three dogs, and two frogs. Mark’s interests include short walks on sand-free surfaces.
