Care & Feeding of the Creative Spirit

Creative Salon Webinar

7 – 8:30 p.m. February 20, 2019

With Deb Lund, author, teacher, and creativity coach

So many of the highs and lows we experience as creators are universal. But when we’re dealing with it alone, we don’t always see that. We judge others from the outside and ourselves from the inside, sometimes making ourselves crazy, blaming the industry, or getting stuck. We get in our own way. But the only thing we can change is ourselves, and the stories writers most need to revise are the ones we tell ourselves. Creativity coach Deb Lund will share lessons she’s learned from her clients and her own career to help us examine the habits, patterns, and inner dialogs that can hurt us — and offer tips for how to change them to find greater career success, creative flow, and happiness.

About Deb:

Deb Lund is best known as the author of her bestselling dinoseries, including All Aboard the Dinotrain, Dinosailors, and Dinosoaring, but she dabbles in lots of genres. She’s also spent many years as a music and classroom teacher, a teacher-librarian, and co-director of a small arts-based school. Deb’s creativity, playfulness, and passion for kids and literacy make her a well-loved presenter and creativity coach.

This webinar will be moderated by Joni Sensel, SCBWI WWA Creativity Liaison
