Liz Kossnar, Associate Editor, Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers. Liz mostly acquires middle grade and chapter books but occasionally works on young adult novels, nonfiction, and picture books. While working at Simon & Schuster, she has had the privilege of working with authors such as Daniel Miyares, Stuart Gibbs, Jessica Lawson, Whitney Gardner, Michelle Hodkin, and many others. She most enjoys reading whimsical, diverse middle grade, and subversive, speculative young adult fiction; also any work of fiction that inspires a sense of empathy or teaches her something she didn’t know. Anything feminist is a plus. Liz is not the best match for animals, sentimentality, or traditional romance. You can follow her on Twitter @liz_adventures.
