Desire: The Story’s Heart
At the heart of every story is what the main character desires. Desire fuels the story action and creates conflict with others. It sets the stakes and motivates the protagonist to take a physical and emotional journey that forever changes them.
Even more important, knowing what the character wants makes the job of writing their story much easier!
Still, desire is often multi-layered and complex, so how does a writer unearth what their character wants and even more important, why they want it?
Regardless of whether a writer is penning a picture book or novel, this webinar will help them identify what their character wants and why by examining the four facets of character desire.
Fees are non-refundable.
