IslandWood Campus
The retreat will be held at IslandWood on Bainbridge Island. The IslandWood team believes that nature enhances creativity and fosters deeper human connections. Here, nature is not just a backdrop, it is an integral part of the experience.

Flexible, light-filled meeting spaces offer wide views of the meadows and forest outside. Beyond meeting spaces, the five natural ecosystems that make up IslandWood’s wooded campus offer ample opportunities for exploration, deeper focus, and inspiration.

LODGING
IslandWood’s Northwest-style lodges offer well-being in a natural setting. Each lodge contains 52 guest rooms, and our group will be in one or two lodges. Choose a single room for an extra fee or make closer friends in a shared room.

Shared rooms have bunk beds and can accommodate up to 5 people. Single or shared, each room has a private bath with separate shower and toilet facilities. This allows for maximum privacy and efficiency when everyone is getting ready!

Each room is appointed with thoughtful details, including a window above each bed that invites in the natural setting. Each lodge also features a spacious great room, complete with a fireplace and comfortable gathering space for community building — or for finding a corner to sit and create.

FOOD
One of the great things about IslandWood is that the food is prepared with local, organic, and sustainably sourced ingredients that reflect the current season and the bounty of the Pacific Northwest. With all menus, the staff makes make every attempt to accommodate food sensitivities. Please specify your food preferences in your registration form.

The simple-yet-intentional philosophy of “every bite matters” guides Chef Jim White’s approach to IslandWood dining. The meals are served family style.

Coffee and tea service is available throughout the weekend. (This is the Pacific Northwest.)

SPECIAL DIETS
If you have a special diet, don’t worry! You’re in good hands. The facility takes all precautions to provide meals that meet every dietary request. You must make special requests known at the time of registration. During the retreat, since meals are served family style, please take the initiative to make your preferences known to the staff. They will identify ingredients and help you select the appropriate choices.
