Northern Network

The Northern Network of Western Washington’s SCBWI meets the first Wednesday of each month, September through June, at 7:00 PM at the Bellingham Barnes & Noble (4099 Meridian St.) We get together to discuss the craft of writing and illustrating, share current projects, and generally have a good time supporting each other on our journey. Feel free to join us no matter where you are on the path to writing and/or illustrating for children.

Upcoming Meeting:

The Hero’s Journey
May 3, 2017

What do Eragon, The Hobbit, A Wrinkle in Time, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe all have in common? They all follow the Hero’s Journey, a form as old as storytelling itself. Come find out how you can use this pattern in your own books, from picture books to novels.

Date: Wednesday, May 3, 2017

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location: The Bellingham Barnes & Noble (4099 Meridian Street)
